A 48-year-old man died this Sunday after receiving shot in the chest inside a New York subway train, as reported by the New York City Police Department.
As explained by the head of the New York Police Department, Kenneth Corey, the victim was sitting in the last car of a train on the line "Q" bound for Manhattan, as reported by the US chain CNN.
At 11:42 am (local time), the emergency services received a call alerting the event. The man has been stabilized and transferred to Belleveu Hospital where he has died.
The victim has been shot in the chest while the train car was traveling across the Manhattan Bridge from the last stop in Brooklyn to Canal Street, according to police sources.
the prime suspect from the shooting, has fled the train, is still at large and there has been no arrest yet. The Police is in charge of the investigation to clarify the causes of the attack and find the fugitive.
