A Dominican couple is arrested after a raid on a drug warehouse in Aguada

The Montevideo department’s anti-drug brigade raided a house where a drug sales outlet was operating. Drugs in the neighborhood aqueous and some arrested Dominican.

The police procedure was carried out in a house owned by Felipe Fraga and Enriqueta Compte y Riqué, where officers found base paste, cocaine, cash and several cell phones.

The raid took place this Tuesday afternoon. The foreign couple was arrested and remains at the disposal of the public prosecutor.

The operation is a derivative of the procedure carried out in March this year in Emilio Reus and Blandengues, where after several raids at least ten people were arrested, including several foreigners with drugs and weapons.

Police believe that the group that operated in the Reus neighborhood is linked to those who sell drugs in the raided town of La Aguada.
