A Canadian couple is murdered in Mexico

The Mexican Caribbean is one of the main beach destinations in the world. It is also the emblem of tourism in the country, an activity that represents 8.5% of GDP.

Mexico is shaken by a wave of violence linked to drug trafficking in the midst of which more than 340,000 people have been killed since December 2006, according to official figures.
