‘Shahzada’ first day business was very slow, Karthik-Kriti magic didn’t work despite free offer

Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s film ‘Shehzada’ was expected to be a blockbuster like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. In order to attract the audience on the first day, the creators also came up with a great idea, but it didn’t work either. The first day box office of ‘Shehzada’ was very slow.

The first day of business for this film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, went pretty slow. The filmmakers had also played a trick on their excellent collection on the first day and had also opened a great offer to make the audience fall in love. There was also a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer for the film, but even this greed failed to attract the audience.

Film critic Taran Adarsh has recounted the first day of pickup for the film. Taran tweeted and wrote: “The prince was disappointed on the first day. Despite the Buy One, Get One offer… Average for national chains, slow on the mass circuit… Holidays on day 2 can improve business on day 2, but it takes a big jump for a decent weekend. In India, the film did a business of Rs 6 crore on Friday.

‘Shehzada’ is the Hindi remake of the film ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ by South superstar Allu Arjun. If you have not seen Allu Arjun’s movie then Karthik’s movie may appeal to you. He has also done some action in the movie which is rarely seen in Karthik movies. Apart from Karthik-Kriti in the film, stars like Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Ronit Roy are in the lead roles.
