The announcement took place on the sidelines of a prisoner of war exchange. The bodies of Christopher Parry and Andrew Bagshaw, two British aid workers killed in Ukraine, have been recovered as part of a transaction between kyiv and Moscow, Ukrainian authorities said on Saturday February 4.

The two volunteers were killed in January while attempting a humanitarian evacuation from the town of Soledar, the scene of intense clashes since the start of 2023.
