80% of Mipymes owners do not have their own home, according to Conacerd

The president of the National Council of Merchants and Entrepreneurs (Conacerd), Antonio Cruz Rojas, reported on Monday that 80% of the owners of MSMEs in the country do not have their own home.

The Red Cross explained that they hired a polling company, which approached 1,981 micro, small and medium enterprises throughout the national territory.

However, whose data showed that of these, some 1,584 They claimed not to have a house.

The owner commented that a general census of the conditions in which this sector operates has never been taken into account, nor has it been necessary to allocate resources for this productive area of ​​the economy in the Dominican Republic.

Based on this context, he announced the project “MSMEs first”, and with him “My First Home for Mipymes”for all companies to start organizing.

In addition, he announced that in the month of October he will announce the final result of the study they are carrying out, with the purpose of giving a precise response to the President of the Republic Luis Abinader on the subject of the unification and organization of MSMEs.

The event is confirmed by the Minister of the Presidency Joel Santos, who appointed a work commission headed by Camal Curí, Vice Minister of Investment Project, so that together with Conacerd and a team of organized commerce, we fine-tune all the necessary details and requirements for the making of a public-private trustto balance and strengthen the State and the private sector.
