Abu Dhabi: There has been an 80% increase in traffic accidents in the United Arab Emirates due to which various reasons have been revealed.
According to Urdu News, the Transport Center of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates has said that traffic accidents due to eating and drinking while driving have increased by 80 percent.
The Transport Center says that eating, drinking, using mobile phones, social media, gossiping with people in the car and being busy with make-up while driving distracts the attention from the road, which leads to accidents.
The Center has asked the drivers to keep their focus on the road while driving and not engage in any distractions.
Abu Dhabi Police say that people found eating, drinking, smoking or women applying make-up while driving will be fined 800 dirhams and 4 points will be deducted.
