6 people, including 3 children, were killed in a shooting at a school in the American city of Nashville, while the girl who fired was killed in police retaliatory action.
According to the American media, the incident took place in a private Christian grade school in Nashville, where an armed assailant girl killed 6 people, including three children, by firing indiscriminately.
The Presbyterian school has approximately 200 students from preschool through sixth grade. Monroe Carell Junior Children’s Hospital says that the students who were seriously injured in the shooting could not be revived and died during treatment.
American media say that the police have shot and killed the girl who opened fire in the school. The attacking girl was armed with 2 rifles and a pistol.
It has been reported that a policeman has also been injured due to glass hitting the scene.
