This week, streaming platforms mark five big premieres. Contrary to what is usual, documentaries are the protagonists of the week and streaming services are increasingly betting on this format that seems to be liked by users.

This is a remake of the iconic comedy that first premiered in 1992.

Peggy Newman, a recovering drug addict, decides to pursue a career in private investigation after her mother passes away.

This series received very positive reviews all over the world.

Angel City – HBO Max

This three-part documentary series looks at the origins of Angel City Soccer Club and the team’s first season in the National Women’s Soccer League.

This synopsis becomes even more interesting when it is mentioned that this women’s soccer club was founded in 2020 by actress Natalie Portman, venture capitalist Kara Nortman, and sports entrepreneur Julie Uhrman.

Work: What We Do All Day – Netflix

This documentary series follows former US President Barack Obama on a cross-country journey to explore what work means today.

Over the course of three episodes, the high-ranking dignitary speaks to a variety of workers, from store clerks to political lobbyists to corporate CEOs, to conclude what work means to people.

I love loving you, Donna Summer

This documentary is an in-depth look at the iconic artist as she creates music that takes her from the cutting-edge music scene in Germany, to the dance clubs of New York, and ultimately to worldwide recognition.
