The Chinese manufacturer led by Pete Lau, currently under the command of OPPO, recently introduced a new generation of Android smartphones already available in its home market. So, until the new OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro arrive in Europe, we present the main news of the most advanced and promising of the new models, the Pro version.
At stake is a smartphone with significant improvements over its predecessor, specifically with a new processor, faster charging, as well as a new generation of LTPO AMOLED screens, as well as a new design for 2022.
1. The LTPO AMOLED screen of the new OnePlus 10 Pro
The first is a new iteration of second-generation Samsung-produced LTPO AMOLED displays. In the case of the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone, its resolution is 1440p, therefore, the Quad-HD + (2K) standard with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz.

2. Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 1 processor
The “heart” of this Android smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the most advanced processor available on the market in early 2022. It is a chip with 4nm lithography, faster and more efficient than its predecessor, the Snapdragon. 888+.
Added to this is a powerful range of technical specifications, such as up to 12 GB of RAM, as well as up to 256 GB of internal storage with UFS 3.1 standard for fast access to memory (read and write).
Added to this is the OnePlus OxygenOS 12 interface, which is already based on Google’s Android 12 operating system. This user interface is optimized for speed and performance and is particularly stable.
In addition, we have the already typical on-screen fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, in addition to other connectivity such as dual-SIM.
Finally, we also have a new cooling system, the most advanced ever designed by OnePlus to keep the phone running in optimal condition.
3. Second generation Hasselblad camera system
The OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone features a new camera suite developed in association with the legendary Hasselblad. It is, in fact, this entity that has contributed a lot to the software that assists these cameras, promising a new quality standard for photography with mobile devices.

Finally, we also have a 32 MP front camera piercing the screen, with a focal aperture of f / 2.2 and a wide-angle lens.
4. 5000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charge
The new processor and the best technical specifications are joined by a high capacity battery with 5,000 mAh and an extra fast charging system. This will be possible with the USB cable and charger included in the box, charging standard at 80 W.
On the other hand, the manufacturer also has a wireless charging system present in the OnePlus 10 Pro capable of charging the smartphone at 50 W. Note that this standard is faster than most of the cable charging standards of the competence.
That said, the new cooling system will prove its worth in keeping the phone cool, especially when charging via induction at 50W of power, an impressive standard without the need for a cable.
5. Updated design and color schemes for 2022
The OnePlus 10 Pro is rounder with organic inspirations. In addition, it has an island of cameras inspired by the design of the Samsung Galaxy S21 in which this component stands out.
In any case, its design is more captivating, even if it is a subjective component. The new Android phone will also be available in Europe in green and black, with a lightly textured glass back panel.
It is important to note that the new OnePlus 10 Pro are also accompanied by new accessories such as their own protective cases, as OnePlus is used to. In addition, we also have a special edition of the OnePlus Buds Pro.
Finally, the new OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro are expected to arrive in Europe during the first quarter of 2022. The price, however, will not be as competitive as in China, where the OnePlus 10 Pro starts at the equivalent of € 650.
