Muscat: A 4,000 year old board game has been discovered in Oman. This board game belongs to the Bronze Age in Oman.

According to an international website, a team of archaeologists has discovered a 4,000-year-old board game in Oman.

The board game belongs to the Bronze Age in Oman, discovered by the Center for Mediterranean Archeology at the University of Warsaw in Poland and the Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.

The purpose of this joint project of Oman and Poland is to investigate the ancient human settlement in the Al-Hijr mountain range in northern Oman.

Experts have been analyzing the region since 2015 and so far there have been numerous discoveries, most of which date back to BC.

According to a press release from the University of Warsaw, the focus of the teams is now on the Bronze Age relics, one of which is the discovery of the aforementioned board game.
