Three people, including a teenage girl, were killed and several others were injured in the shooting at two schools in Brazil.
According to the French news agency, three people were killed and 11 injured in shooting incidents at two schools in the state of Espirito Santo in southern Brazil. Police have arrested the suspect who was wearing Nazi party symbols.
According to the authorities, the 16-year-old assailant first entered his old school and opened fire on a group of teachers, as a result of which two teachers were killed and nine were injured. A young girl was killed while two persons were injured by firing.
The local governor, Renato Kasagrande, has announced three days of mourning for the incident. In a press conference, he said that the accused was 16 years old and had been studying at the school where he first opened fire until June, after which his family gave him up. One was admitted to another school. The governor said that the accused who fired was not mentally stable and was under treatment.
Officials said the accused is the son of a police officer and he used two handguns registered in his father’s name, one of which was his service pistol and the other was privately registered.
