New Delhi: Police have arrested three operatives of a group involved in stealing money from ATMs, fourteen ATM cards of different banks have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
In Pratapgarh district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the police arrested three suspects who stole money from an ATM of a local bank on a tip-off.
According to Indian media, the suspects belong to a criminal group, the police say that fourteen ATM cards of different banks have been recovered from the possession of the suspects.
In the initial investigation, the accused revealed that they cheat simple people and withdraw money from their accounts by knowing their ATM card number and password.
According to the news, the police filed a case against the three accused under serious provisions and presented them in the court from where they were sent to the local jail.
