CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to Send Documents to CID

Speaking to the media, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared new details, as reported by ANI. He explained that the death certificate from the Singapore High Commission lists “drowning” as the cause of death. However, he noted that this is not the same as a post-mortem report, which offers more detailed findings. The Chief Minister stated that these documents would be sent to the CID for review. He also mentioned that the Chief Secretary of the Assam government is reaching out to Singapore’s Ambassador. Their goal is to get the full post-mortem report as quickly as possible. This shows the government’s commitment to finding complete answers.

How Singer Zubeen Passed Away

Singer Zubeen Garg died on September 19 in Singapore. His death resulted from a scuba diving accident. At the time, Zubeen was in Singapore for the Northeast India Festival. After his passing, the festival organizers released a statement. They said Zubeen Garg faced breathing problems during his scuba dive. He received CPR before being taken to Singapore General Hospital. The organizers confirmed that every effort was made to save him. Later, his body was brought to Delhi. The singer’s body then arrived in Guwahati on Sunday morning, where fans and family awaited him.
