According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi is preparing the launch of the Redmi K50S series that includes a Pro model that will very possibly be the first smartphone of the Chinese brand to integrate a 200 megapixel sensor.

The information comes through the Digital Chat Station filter, which also adds other top specifications with which the terminal will hit the market.

But the news for European users is not the best. It is that, in a first phase, the long-awaited model will only be available in its country of origin, China, and it may be available from August in said market.

In addition to the 200-megapixel resolution sensor, the well-known leaker also anticipates that the model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a robust 5,000 mAh battery.

The global market will receive the Xiaomi 12T series

Meanwhile, other rumors are advancing that the new Xiaomi 12S series might not reach the global market. On the other hand, the Chinese brand will launch the 12T series worldwide, which will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Now is the time to give good news to global users. The same rumors advance that the Xiaomi 12T Pro model will include a 200 megapixel sensor.

In fact, these sources advance that the model may have the same specifications as the Redmi K50S, but have different trade names in the Chinese market and in the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, there is no information available on when the terminal may arrive in Europe, but if it launches in August in China, it is possible that it will launch globally at the end of summer.
