Xiaomi’s budget-friendly Redmi A5 4G smartphone has started selling in Bangladesh, even though it hasn’t been officially launched. Now, rumors suggest it’s heading to Europe, possibly rebranded as the Poco C71, with the same hardware.
The Redmi A5 4G boasts a large 6.88-inch LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, making for smooth visuals. It also features a Unisoc T7250 chip with an 8-core CPU and a maximum processing speed of 1.8 GHz.

- 8-megapixel front camera
- 5,200 mAh battery with 18 W charging
- Dimensions: 171.7 x 77.8 x 8.26 mm
- Weight: 193 grams
- Android 15 G Edition operating system, optimized for lower-end devices
The Redmi A5 4G is expected to cost 149 euros in Europe, with 4/128 GB storage.
