A shooting occurred on Sunday evening in Montevideo, near the Canelones border.
The victim was on Servando Gómez street in Bañados de Carrasco when he was shot.
Victim’s Condition
He was taken to a hospital by his partner.
The victim received two bullets, one of which damaged an artery, leaving him in critical condition, according to police information obtained by News Agency.
Police who arrived at the scene found the victim was wanted by the Homicidios division.
He was transferred to Pasteur hospital by ambulance with police escort.
Investigation
The warrant for his arrest dates back to November 2024.
The victim refused to file a report on Sunday’s incident.
According to police, two men arrived at the scene, fired shots, collected the shells, and escaped. They are now fugitives.
