Xiaomi Civi 3 is official: the new mid-range that you can’t buy

As expected, this morning Xiaomi launched a new smartphone. Is called Xiaomi CIVI 3and it is the brand’s latest device for the mid-range segment with a strong focus on style.

As usual in this line, the Civi 3 will be a Chinese market exclusive device. This means that you will not be able to buy it in Europe under this name. But that does not mean that it cannot reach our market in the future under another name. Remember that the Civi 2 is sold here while Xiaomi 13 Lite.

Xiaomi CIVI 3 has a two-tone color back

But let’s go to the details. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful devices we have seen in recent times. It features a two-tone back aesthetic, with the main color on top and a faded effect on top. It will be available in purple, mint and gold.

The three-chambered island is circular and sits in the upper left corner, and the ring that surrounds it pandas with the rest of the rear. Inside, you have a 50 MP main camera with OIS, 8 MP ultra-wide angle and 2 MP macro.

At the front we have a 32 MP main lens accompanied by a 32 MP ultra-wide angle, which will surely do well in selfies. The display is a 6.55-inch curved OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,500-nit peak brightness.

MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra is the Xiaomi CIVI 3 processor

Inside you will find a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor with promising performance and 5G compatibility. Users will be able to choose between 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage.

It has MIUI 14 with Android 13 out of the box and a 4500 mAh battery with 67 W cable charging. In terms of connectivity we have Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC.

The base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage costs 2,499 yuan (330 euros) in China. The top-of-the-range model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage will arrive in the country for 2,999 yuan (396 euros).
