After many rumors and information leaks, this Tuesday Xiaomi finally presented the Xiaomi 12. This is the base model of the brand’s high-end smartphones for 2022, and it came together with the Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It is a smartphone that shows that the Chinese manufacturer is aware of what consumers wanted and also what the competition is doing. That is why we went from a 6.81 “inch screen in the previous generation to 6.28” inches in this Xiaomi 12.

Xiaomi 12 has a 6.28 “inch AMOLED screen

The display earned an A + rating, the highest on DisplayMate. You won’t have to worry about protection either, as this one features Gorilla Glass Victus. Highlights include support for Dolby Atmos and Harman Kardon stereo finger speakers.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the new Xiaomi 12
It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This 4 nanometer processor has 5G support and is backed by 8 or 12 GB of RAM. It also has 128 or 256 GB of storage options and comes standard with MIUI 13 in addition to Android 12.
The battery level also promises not to let you down. It has a capacity of 4500mAh, with a fast charge of 67W. This allows you to charge it with cables in 39 minutes. The wireless connection has a 50W load and also has a 10W reverse load.
The cameras are another of the strengths of this terminal. It has a main Sony IMX766 sensor of 50 MP with 1 / 1.56 ”, f / 1.88 and optical image stabilization. This is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a macro sensor. The front camera is 32 MP, and it is in a center drill hole.

The Xiaomi 12 will be available in three variants, priced starting at RMB 3,699 (513 euros) in China. It will be for sale in black, green, blue and pink.
