Won’t Australian coach Justin Langer’s term be extended?

The term of Australian cricket team coach Justin Langer will end after the series against Pakistan in March-April. In such a situation, when Cricket Australia (CA) CEO Nick Hockley was asked about the extension of Langer’s term, he declined to comment. Australia recently won their first ICC T20 World Cup title in the United Arab Emirates and coach Langer is set to retain the Ashes under his tenure.

There were reports of a fight between Langer and the players after Bangladesh lost the T20I series in August. Following this, Cricket Australia called an emergency meeting, in which CA also issued a statement in support of the former starter, saying that he will continue to coach at the ICC T20 and Ashes World Cups and complete his term until the Pakistan tour. .

“I think Langer is doing a wonderful job,” Hawkley said in a coach endorsement ahead of the Boxing Day Test on Sunday.

“We have done well in the first two Ashes Trials and coach Langer’s team is looking to win the series,” he told FoxSports.
