According to Bollywood Hungama, Anand Pandit and Firoz Nadiadwala first approached Varun Dhawan for ‘Hera Pheri 3’. They both wanted Varun Dhawan to play the role of Raju. Apart from this, he also offered David Dhawan to direct this film with his son Rohit Dhawan but Varun Dhawan refused to work on the film.
