New Delhi: A snake was found in a house in India and its family members killed it, but the same night another snake bit a child in the house, after which the child died.
According to Indian media, the incident took place in a village in the state of Madhya Pradesh where a snake came out during worship in a house.
The head of the house Kishori Lal and others killed the snake and threw it away, after which normal activities resumed in the house.
But that night another snake came out of the house and bit Kishori Lal’s 12 year old son.
The 12-year-old boy was shifted to a local hospital where doctors referred him to a Bhopal hospital, but he died on the way to Bhopal.
Panic has gripped the village since the incident, with villagers saying the second snake was actually a pair of snakes killed earlier and had avenged the death of his companion.
The family has also reported the incident to the police.
