The feature will require user permission to download chats. However, it should work the same way as the other way around. For now, these images were taken from the 22.2.74 beta version of the iOS app.
This means that the feature is not yet available to all users. It is therefore in the testing phase, and it is not yet known from which versions of iOS and Android it will be available.
