WhatsApp continues to make frequent improvements to its instant messaging service. And the next big feature is already being tested in the Beta version of the iOS app.
This weekend WhatsApp launched beta version 22.2.72 for iOS with a novelty that indicates that the ‘reaction to messages’ will soon arrive. This is the kind of functionality you already have in messaging apps like Facebook Messenger or direct messages on Instagram.
As you can see in the image shared by WABetaInfo, in this version you can decide whether or not you want to receive a notification when someone reacts to your messages. And you can decide whether it is an individual message or a group message.
If you are a regular WhatsApp user, you know that it is still not possible to react to messages in this application. Which means this is a feature that is about to come to the instant messaging app.
Remember that WhatsApp recently started allowing users to use the messaging app on other devices, without having to turn on the main smartphone. In addition, it is also now possible to hide your online status only for certain contacts.
