Vizela Triumphs in Double Pre-Season Friendlies Against Fafe, Anadia

The football calendar often throws up unique challenges, and for Vizela, this past Saturday was certainly one of them. Under the guidance of their new coach, Ricardo Sousa, the team took on a double-header. This wasn’t their first such test this week, but this time, every result went their way.

Ricardo Sousa has reasons to smile in Vizela's pre-season.

Reports from the sports daily Record revealed Vizela’s morning success. The Minho-based club hosted Fafe, a team from Liga 3, for an early kick-off. Vizela secured a clean 1-0 victory. The winning goal was a true showcase of new talent. Striker Manu Garrido found the net after a clever pass from Moha Moukhliss. Both players are recent additions to the squad, already making their mark.

The afternoon brought another opponent and another win. Vizela then played Anadia, also a third-tier side, and edged them out with a 2-1 triumph. This second match also featured goals from key players. Miguel Tavares and Mörschel each scored for Vizela. Thio added to the attacking efforts by providing an assist, rounding off a highly productive day on the pitch for the club.
