The Chinese tech giant vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest smartphone, the vivo Y300i, on March 14th in China. This upcoming device is an upgraded version of the vivo Y39 5G and T4x, which were recently launched in Malaysia and India. The Y300 series is a lineup of multiple models, one of which is the vivo Y300 Pro+, a device that has already seen some leaked information surface online.
According to a report by Panda is Bald, the vivo Y300 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a mid-range processor that’s a step down from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The device will also boast a large 7,500 mAh battery, which should provide users with ample power to get through their daily tasks.
In terms of camera capabilities, the vivo Y300 Pro+ will feature a 32-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and video calls, while the rear will have a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary sensor. Although the exact details of the secondary camera are still unknown, it’s likely to be an ultrawide lens, given the common trends in smartphone camera configurations.
The vivo Y300 Pro+ is expected to be the top-of-the-line model in the Y300 series, which currently consists of two models: the Y300 and Y300 Pro. The Pro+ variant is rumored to launch later this month, with a starting price of around 2,000 yuan, or approximately $280.
