vivo is known for making smartphones with top-tier cameras. Now, Huang Tao, who leads product development for vivo, has teased the brand’s next big photography phones. We’re talking about the X300 series, and we’ve already gotten a good look at their designs.
The new images show both the standard vivo X300 and the X300 Pro. They have a flatter look compared to the older X200 models. You’ll also notice the flash has moved to the top-left corner on the back. The regular X300 comes in two gentle shades: light blue and light pink. If you go for the X300 Pro, it will be available in black and a sophisticated beige, giving it a more premium feel.

Both the X300 and X300 Pro will feature three cameras on the back, tucked into a large module. Huang Tao shared some photos taken with the standard X300’s main camera. This sensor packs 200 megapixels and works at a 23mm focal length. The sample shots show incredible detail and very accurate colors.
He also posted pictures from the X300 Pro’s zoom camera. This one also has 200 megapixels and uses APO (Apochromatic) technology. The detail captured in these zoom shots is just as impressive, promising sharp results even from a distance.

Reports suggest the X300 series will run on MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 chip. This new processor is expected to hit speeds up to 4.21 GHz. It will also include a built-in V3+ imaging chip to significantly boost photo and video capabilities.
Han Boxiao, another vivo product manager, explained what the V3+ chip brings to the table. He said it will allow the vivo X300 to record Cinematic Portrait videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. This would make it the first Android phone to offer such a feature.

Fans should mark their calendars. The vivo X300 flagship series is expected to launch in China sometime in October 2025.
