vivo T4 Pro Launched: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 50MP Zoom Camera, 6500 mAh Battery

The latest smartphone from Chinese brand vivo has arrived, and it’s making a statement. Called the T4 Pro, this is the sixth device in their T4 series. It appears to be a refreshed version of the V60, bringing some serious upgrades and a solid feature set to the table.

At its core, the T4 Pro runs on a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Qualcomm first unveiled this chip in May 2025. It is built using 4-nanometer technology. The chip can reach speeds of up to 2.8 GHz, ensuring smooth performance for apps and games. You can get the phone with up to 12 GB of RAM. This can be expanded with another 12 GB of virtual RAM. Storage options go up to 256 GB.

This new phone features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display. It offers a Full HD+ resolution. The screen is incredibly bright, hitting up to 5,000 Nits. Keeping the device powered is a large 6,500 mAh battery. It also supports super-fast 90 Hz charging. All this power is packed into a slim body, just 7.5 mm thin.

The T4 Pro isn’t just about looks. It comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. This means it can handle being in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. It can also withstand high-pressure water at temperatures up to 80 degrees, just like the vivo V60. But the T4 Pro goes a step further. It boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. This certification means it can survive harsh conditions. Think extreme temperatures, dust, sand, humidity, and vibrations. This is a significant bump in toughness over the V60.

When it comes to cameras, the T4 Pro doesn’t hold back. It features a triple camera setup on the back:

  • A 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor.
  • A 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera, also using a Sony IMX882 sensor, offering 3x lossless zoom.
  • A 2-megapixel depth sensor to help with portrait shots.

For selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel front camera. It can record videos in 4K resolution. The phone also includes a 10x Telephoto Stage Portrait feature, which was also seen on the V60.

An under-display fingerprint sensor offers quick security. You can even use the phone with wet fingers. The T4 Pro ships with Funtouch OS 15. This operating system is built on Android 15. vivo promises long-term support, with 4 years of software updates and 6 years of security patches.

  • 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: 29,999 Indian Rupees
  • 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: 31,999 Indian Rupees
