Box office shock often does profound damage to any movie. Something similar has happened with the recently released film ‘Bhediya’, which collided at the box office with Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Drishyam 2’. Since its release, the film is causing a sensation at the box office.
It’s been 16 days since the release of Drishyam 2, garnished with seasoned stars like Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, but its fire is still undimmed. Released on 18th November 2022, the take of this film has again jumped on the 16th. The film has reportedly done a business of Rs 7 crores on its third Saturday. In such a situation, his total take has become Rs 174.93 crore.
Varun Dhawan’s film Bhediya was released on 25 November. The horror-comedy movie hasn’t been able to perform as expected at the box office thus far and it’s not likely to do so in the coming days. The film did a decent grossing in the opening weekend though the film’s earnings have been very low compared to ‘Drishyam 2’.
Directed by Varun and Kriti Sanon starring Amar Kaushik, the film earned a total of Rs 42.05 crore in the first week. Meanwhile, the film’s ninth-day take has now also arrived. The film reportedly earned Rs 3.25 crore on the second Saturday. Consequently, the film has so far grossed 47.37.
