VALORANT is five years old. To celebrate, Riot Games released a song called “Por que lutamos// EGO”. Qing Madi sings it as Mary Ade.
Mary Ade is Phoenix’s sister. Phoenix is a character in the game. Mary Ade is not a playable character, but she’s part of the game’s story. She showed up on May 13.
The song is about agents like Raze, Killjoy, and Brimstone being scared. It also looks back at Phoenix’s past. The song ends with a mission where the characters fight. You can find “EGO” on VALORANT’s official YouTube channel.
Qing Madi is a singer and songwriter from Nigeria. She’s 18 and sang as Mary Ade in “EGO”. People noticed her after her songs “See Finish” in 2022 and “Ole” in 2023.
