Vaibhav Suryavanshi Smashes Sixes in U19 NCA Camp After IPL Success

Meet Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 14-year-old cricket sensation who’s taking the sports world by storm. As part of the Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, he made his mark after captain Sanju Samson’s injury. Vaibhav was bought for 1.10 crore rupees at the auction.

In his seven matches, he hit 18 fours and 24 sixes. Now, a video of him hitting back-to-back sixes at the Under-19 NCA camp is going viral on social media. Vaibhav will join the Indian Under-19 team on a tour of England this month for five one-day matches and two test matches.

Breaking Records

Vaibhav broke the record for the fastest century by an Indian in the IPL, scoring 100 runs in just 35 balls. He surpassed Yusuf Pathan’s record of 37 balls. With an average of 36 and a strike rate of 207, Vaibhav scored 252 runs in the tournament.

Award-Winning Performance

Vaibhav won the Tata Curvv car for having the highest strike rate in the IPL 2025 season, with a minimum of 100 balls played. He also received 10 lakh rupees in cash. Vaibhav’s strike rate of 206.56 surpassed other top players, earning him the Curvv Super Striker of the Season award.
