Get ready for a fright. Universal Pictures just dropped a new teaser for the movie version of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. It’s hitting theaters on December 5 in the US.
Emma Tammi is back to direct the sequel, and Scott Cawthon, the creator of the game, wrote the script. This combo worked for the first movie, so fans are hoping for more of the same.
The plot is still under wraps, but we know some of the original cast is returning. Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard will reprise their roles. It’s likely the story will draw from the second game, based on an interview Cawthon gave in 2018.
The first Five Nights at Freddy’s movie did amazingly well, raking in over $80 million at the box office. So, it’s no surprise we’re getting a sequel. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know if anything new comes up.
