A 21-year-old Ukrainian man was arrested in London on suspicion of arson.
Roman Lafrenovich is accused of starting three fires linked to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
He was taken into custody at his home in Sydenham.
Lafrenovich will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday to face charges.
The fires occurred over four days.
They included a car fire in Kentish Town, where Starmer previously lived.
Another fire damaged the front entrance of Starmer’s former home.
A third fire happened at a property in northwest London that Starmer used to live in during the 1990s, now converted into flats.
The Metropolitan Police arrested Lafrenovich on Tuesday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
