Jonathan Dumont, Creative Director at Ubisoft, reveals the team is closely monitoring player stats to consider adding an even harder difficulty mode to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In an interview with GamesRadar+, Dumont says they want to cater to players seeking a greater challenge.
“We’re looking to add more difficulty settings for some of our players,” Dumont explains. “We’re watching play statistics and listening to what players are saying about the game.” Currently, Assassin’s Creed Shadows offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Expert, for both combat and stealth gameplay. This hint from Dumont suggests a high likelihood of a future update introducing a new, tougher difficulty level that offers a distinct playstyle.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The team’s commitment to player feedback might just bring an exciting new dimension to the game.
