Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is set to make her professional golf debut next month after receiving a wildcard entry to an LPGA tour event, despite her relatively low amateur ranking.
The 18-year-old will compete at The Annika tournament, scheduled for November 13-16 at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. The event is part of the professional women’s golf circuit.
Trump issued a statement calling the opportunity a “dream come true.” She added, “My dream has always been to compete with the best in the world and play on the LPGA. Participating in this event will be an incredible experience.”
The wildcard entry comes despite her current 461st position in amateur rankings. She has played in three amateur tournaments, achieving limited success.
Kai Trump, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., also maintains a significant social media presence with millions of followers across various platforms.
This professional appearance is expected to serve as preparation for her upcoming collegiate golf season. She is slated to represent the University of Miami in university competitions.
