Can you believe it? It’s been a whopping 20 months since Trivikram Srinivas last helmed a film. His last big screen outing was ‘Guntur Kaaram’, which hit theaters back in January 2024. Now, after a long wait, the “wizard of words” is ready to get back behind the camera. And for his grand return, he’s set to direct the amazing Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role.
Producer Naga Vamsi made the official announcement, and he couldn’t hide his excitement. He took to his X account, sharing a picture of Trivikram Srinivas and Venkatesh Daggubati looking ready for action. In his heartfelt post, he celebrated Trivikram’s comeback, noting the significant break he’d taken.

So, what has Venkatesh Daggubati been doing lately? Before this exciting new project, he was last seen on screen in the movie ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’. That film was a big collaboration, written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. It was brought to life by Sri Venkateswara Creations. Venkatesh Daggubati shared the screen with a fantastic cast in ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’. The film also starred Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, P. Sai Kumar, VTV Ganesh, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Upendra Limaye, and Srinivas Avasarala in key roles.
