The mobile game TRIBE NINE is shutting down on November 27, 2025, just nine months after its launch on February 19, 2025. The game’s development team, Akatsuki Games, announced the closure on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, citing their inability to sustain the game’s operations despite their best efforts.
The team had been working hard to provide the best experience for players, but ultimately decided that closing the game was the best course of action. As a result, all future updates, including the planned Chapter 4 storyline and new character releases, will be canceled. Players who made in-game purchases will receive refunds.
TRIBE NINE was created by Kazutaka Kodaka, known for the Danganronpa series, and combines 2D and 3D graphics in a futuristic action RPG setting.
