The Solana (SOL) network is still one of the largest in the world cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, the network is also regularly plagued by major problems. In the past year, the network was regularly temporarily out of the air, which is of course a thorn in the side for a network that wants to make payments extremely fast and cheap. Solana’s team has now announced a plan with which they hope to finally put the ongoing problems behind them.
Solana’s troubles continue
This weekend it was unfortunately for Solana hit again. Once validators put conflicting information on Solana’s blockchain, the number of transactions per second dropped substantially. Temporarily, only dozens of transactions were processed, while under normal circumstances this should be no less than 5,000 transactions per second.
A while later, the network was successfully restarted, but the fact remains that it was the umpteenth time that Solana was temporarily off the air. Two days later, the cause of the malfunction was still there a mystery.
Solana has the ambition to fight against it Ethereum (ETH) network. That is of course not nothing and it does not help if the network dies every now and then. Solana’s team recognizes that resolving the issues is a top priority.
Solana Labs CEO and founder Anatoly Yakovenko shared a post on Twitter today outlining the plan to improve network stability once and for all.

Solana improvement plan
The plan consists of six steps for Solana engineers to help streamline the network process. The plan reveals that a so-called “opponent team” has also been formed, comprising one-third of the Solana developer team.
This team of ‘adversaries’ is formed to try every possible way to discover vulnerabilities in the network. So they pretend to be bad guys with the aim of getting ahead of them.
However, the plan is not received with loud applause from the community, there is a lot of criticism. For example, some users are now wondering whether Solana’s team is at all is well tested.
