Comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada has been targeted in a third firing incident, for which the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility. The attack marks an escalation in ongoing threats against the popular entertainment personality.
The latest incident occurred at Sharma’s “Caps Cafe” before Diwali. It follows two previous shootings at the same establishment in July and August.
Members of the Lawrence Bishnoi network, identified as Goldy Dhillon and Kuldeep Sidhu, publicly claimed accountability for the attack via social media. They shared a video allegedly showing individuals firing at the cafe from a vehicle.
In their statement, Dhillon and Sidhu asserted: “We, Kuldeep Sidhu and Goldy Dhillon, take responsibility for the three shootings at Caps Cafe. We have no enmity with the general public. Those with whom we have disputes should stay away from us. Those who engage in illegal activities and do not pay people should also be prepared.”
Senior journalist Sameer Kaushal reported that the assailants specifically targeted the same location as the previous firing, despite heightened security measures at the cafe.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is widely known for issuing threats and extorting money from figures within the Bollywood industry. The repeated attacks on Kapil Sharma’s business underscore the persistent danger posed by the criminal organization.
