Anant Ambani, younger son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, founded a major animal welfare organization called ‘Vantara’ on February 26. This is a zoo where animals are kept and cared for in an open environment. There will be a rescue center and a rehabilitation center will also be opened. On February 26, Anant Ambani explained what “Vantara” is in a press conference. He had a love for animals since childhood and wanted to do something for them. Now they have a chance and other animals are being cared for in Vantara, especially elephants are being given more attention.

This place is built on about 3,000 hectares in the green belt of Reliance’s Jamnagar refinery complex in Gujarat. Vantara’s mission is to support animals in conservation efforts worldwide.
