The six Spanish professional cycling teams will be present at the second edition of the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior, which will be held on February 13 between the Jaén towns of Úbeda and Baeza.
Thus, on the starting line will be the Movistar Team, the best Spanish team in history with more than four decades of existence, and the Burgos BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Kern Pharma Team and Euskaltel-Euskadi, UCI ProTeam category; Y Electro Hyper Europe, from Mainland.
For the latter, this will be his debut in the new Andalusian test, while both lBoth the ProTeam and the Movistar Team have already visited the World Heritage Cities de Úbeda and Baeza in the first edition held in 2022, according to the organization in a statement.
These sports groups join the two already announced, the Astana Qazaqstan, of the current champion of the test, Alexey Lutsenko and the UAE Team Emirates.
“The presence and involvement of these teams gives us life”, explains Pascual Momparler, head of the organization of the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior.
“In the end, the race was born for Spanish teams and cyclists. In our country, a classic like ours was needed, which meant a Valuable experience in order to perform in top-level events such as Paris-Roubaix, Strade Bianche, Tour of Flanders”said.
