The Lakers still haven't won in preseason

Los Angeles Lakers fell this Thursday before minnesota timberwolves (99-114) and still without victory after three games played in the NBA preseason.

None of the Lakers’ three stars played in this matchup in Las Vegas (USA): LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. Within the usual preseason rotations, the Lakers also did not have Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn for this game. For his part, Karl-Anthony Towns did not play with the Timberwolves.

In a game in which the Minnesotans came to win by 26 points, Thomas Bryant (18 points and 7 rebounds) was the best of the Angelenos while in the Wolves there were three players who scored 13 points: Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell and Jaylen Nowell.

Mexican Juan Toscano-Anderson had 6 points and 2 rebounds for the Lakers but had to leave the game early due to a quadriceps contusion.

After a disastrous past course in which they were even left out of the play in, the Lakers began this preseason with a loss to the Sacramento Kings (75-105) and also lost their second warm-up game to the Phoenix Suns (115-119). In those two duels LeBron and Westbrook did play while Davis participated in the first but missed the second.

Golden State Warriors and, again, Timberwolves and Kings will be the rivals of the three games that the Lakers have left before the official competition begins.
