The big multiversal festival of DC Comics arrives in less than two weeks. After several turmoil in its production due to the instability of its interpreter Ezra Miller, the latter made amends and the feature film will take place. A trifle of returns will be announced: Zod (Michael Shannon), Faora Ui and the Batman of Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. Even surprises hidden until then have been revealed by Andy Muschietti. However, the filmmaker of the It saga revealed to Collider that he had absolutely no plan B if Keaton refused his comeback in the role.

“We wouldn’t have made this film. We couldn’t have made this film as it was. We made it clear to him the first time we sat down with him for lunch if he had said no it would have been a completely different story. »

There is therefore no doubt that the choice of the multiverse would not have been a privileged track in the event of the actor’s refusal. Carried out by Andy Muschietti based on a script by Christina Hodson, The Flash find Barry Allen a.k.a Flash traveling back in time to prevent the murder of his mother. Instead, he finds himself trapped in an alternate reality and must seek help from his younger self, a Batman older and Supergirl in order to save this world from the general Zod restored and to return to his universe.
