: Famous filmmaker Karan Johar’s romantic comedy movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani) is coming to theaters very soon. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s film has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification i.e. CBFC. But before that there have been many cuts and some changes.
Seven years after the release of the movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Karan Johar has brought ‘The love story of Rocky and Rani’. Co-produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, in addition to Ranveer-Alia, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi will also be seen in key roles.
And according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC has made some cuts and changes before giving the film a U/A certificate. Here is the list of changes made to the movie.
The profanity has been changed in the film.
Apart from this, ‘bra’ has been changed to ‘item’ in one scene.
The famous Old Monk brand of rum has been replaced by ‘Bold Monk’.
Along with this, there is a reference to Lok Sabha in the film and a dialogue in which Mamta Banerjee is mentioned. The board has completely used scissors on that.
