Cologne, Germany, August 27, 2025 – Tencent Games really made a splash at gamescom 2025. They showed up bigger than ever before, drawing in hundreds of thousands of visitors to their massive booth. Delta Force from Team Jade, a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter, released its first console trailer at Opening Night Live. The game is now officially out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This means console and PC players can team up for endless war experiences. Honor of Kings: World, from TiMi Studio Group, excited fans on the ONL stage with a new trailer. This action RPG fantasy adventure, with its Eastern style, displayed stunning views of the Primaera kingdom. It showed off a unique, legendary world within the Honor of Kings universe. A PC demo of its Co-op Battle mode against a boss was available for international players for the first time. This let fans see the fast combat, changing playstyles, teamwork features, and true-to-life game setting. Project Spectrum Debuts on ONL

Driving Innovation and Industry Talk

Beyond their busy booths, Tencent Games showed leadership in new ideas and working with developers globally. Tencent Games stressed its dedication to helping the game industry grow in a good way at the gamescom congress. Rick Li, Producer of PUBG MOBILE, joined a panel called "Playing for the Planet." He spoke with industry leaders from Ubisoft, Unity, and Xbox. They shared ideas on how to lower pollution during game creation. They also discussed how to inspire players to help make positive changes.

Rick Li, Producer of PUBG MOBILE, stated, "We must use games as a medium and naturally influence players. People are very interested in content that encourages action on climate change. We all have a duty to gather players and drive positive change together." Recently, PUBG MOBILE launched its "Play For Green" campaign. At devcom, Tencent Games also unveiled VISVISE, a new AI-powered game creation solution. It features cool tools like GoSkinning and MotionBlink. These tools automatically build character structures and textures (rigging and skinning). They also make high-definition 3D animation production much faster. VISVISE helps developers work quicker and smarter. This gives them more time for creative tasks and new ideas. Zijiao Zeng, Principal AI Researcher, first shared how this solution will change 3D game animation production. This happened during a special talk titled AI Redefining Animation Production – End-to-end Innovation in Character Animation.

Besides showing off tools for developers, other talks covered important topics. Yue Wang, Director of Anti-Cheat Operations, presented "The Invisible War Against Mobile Game Cheats – A Global Defense Perspective." He discussed special strategies and defenses against targeted cheat programs. Meanwhile, Merle Chen (Head of Sound), Shuai Zhen (Sound Designer), and Luke Wang (Audio Designer) from Tencent Games showed how Sound Design builds tension and feeling in battle. Their talk was called Smoke and Echoes: Sound Narrative in Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.
