Tatiana Pinto believes she has found the right home for her ambition. The Portuguese international signed a deal with Juventus on Thursday, keeping her with the club until 2027. She explained that the Italian champions are the ideal fit for a player with a strong desire to win.
A Perfect Match
“Juventus is the perfect club for someone who wants to win titles,” Pinto said in her first comments to the club. The midfielder felt an immediate connection to the team’s mindset. “I’ve just arrived, but I’ve already realized that this is a club that wants to win everything. I totally identify with those values.”
The move came as a surprise to Pinto. “It was unexpected, but as soon as Juventus contacted me I was very happy,” she explained. The transfer also marks a special milestone. “I am a very ambitious player. Being the first Portuguese player for Juventus makes me very happy.”
A Journey Across Europe
At 31 years old, Pinto brings a wealth of experience to her new team. She joins from Atlético Madrid, where she contributed 3 goals and 5 assists over 35 games. Her career has taken her to several top leagues. She has played for Albergaria and Sporting in Portugal, SC Sand in Germany, and Bristol and Brighton in England. She also previously played in Spain for Levante.
