Tamra Judge is publicly supporting her former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” co-star, Meghan King.
Judge, 58, reacted on social media after reports revealed King, 41, lost custody of her three children with ex-husband Jim Edmonds following a Child Protective Services investigation.
“Thoughts and prayers ❤️,” Judge wrote in the comment section of a post about the news. She added, “You are an incredible mother.”
King and Judge were co-stars on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” from seasons 10 to 12.
When King announced her departure from the Bravo reality show in January 2018, she expressed gratitude for friendships formed.
“I have made soul sisters in Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge and that cannot be lost,” King wrote on her blog at the time. “They have touched my heart and I would do anything for them, and I know they feel the same way about me — what a gift to have found that on RHOC!”
Multiple sources informed Us Weekly that the decision to remove physical custody from King was made in recent months. King shares her 8-year-old daughter Aspen and 7-year-old twin sons Hart and Hayes with Edmonds, 55.
The former Bravo star is now allowed supervised visits with her children. Edmonds holds exclusive physical custody.
According to a source, this decision is temporary. A hearing is scheduled for December to determine if the custody arrangement will become permanent.
King has not yet commented publicly on the situation.
This is not the first time Judge has publicly supported King. After Edmonds filed for divorce in October 2019 following five years of marriage, King received words of encouragement from Judge.
“Sending a big hug,” the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast host commented on an Instagram post then. She continued, “You are a strong woman, Megs. I love you.”
King is also receiving support from other former co-stars during this difficult time.
In a TikTok video posted this past Wednesday, Kelly Dodd called her former co-star “an excellent mother.”
“I just pray she gets her children back,” continued Dodd, who also starred on “RHOC” with King. “Everyone, pray for Meghan and her family. Those boys and that daughter need their mom. They need their mother, and what is happening now is terrible.”
King generally tries to keep her children off social media. However, she recently shared a special celebration this past summer.
While celebrating Hayes and Hart’s seventh birthday, King shared a family photo without Edmonds.
“This is the third time they celebrate their birthday at @epiphanylanes! Birthdays 4, 5 and now 7!” she wrote on Instagram on June 7. “Fun fact: Hayes was born about 45 minutes before Hart. When Hayes was born, I immediately called him ‘Hart.’ Then Hart arrived and I said, ‘This is Hart.’ So I switched their names. They love the story of when they had each other’s name 💞 👥.”
