Ishan Kishan looked in excellent form in the T20 series against South Africa. He scored 206 runs in the entire series with a strike rate of 150. Also in IPL 2022, he scored runs at a stormy pace. He has been raining races for the last two years but he has not been seen in the 2021 T20 World Cup squad and it is possible that the same thing will happen to him in the 2022 T20 World Cup as well. Karim spoke to the media ahead of the start of Team India’s tour of Ireland. The question was to decide the India team’s playing XI for the T20 series against England and the T20 World Cup. To this Saba said, “If they are criticized, then they will have to find a cure so they can move on. If they are not able to do that, then the team management and selectors will have to talk to them in a solid tone, as there is stiff competition for every place in the team.”
Rohit and Kohli are currently busy preparing for the test match in England, while Rahul is in Germany for injury treatment. At the same time, the Indian team will play the T20 series against Ireland under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya.
