Kabul: As a result of a suicide bombing in a seminary in the capital of Afghanistan, Rahimullah Haqqani, the director of the Afghan seminaries, was killed.
Afghan intelligence officials have confirmed the death of Rahimullah Haqqani in a bomb blast. Talking to foreign media, Taliban officials said that the suicide attack took place in a seminary in the Afghan capital when a person missing a leg blew himself up with explosives hidden in a plastic artificial leg.
Officials say that Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani, the director of Afghan Madrasahs, has died as a result of the suicide blast, however, the final number of deaths in the blast has not been determined.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the blast, but they have been targeted by ISIS in the past.
Earlier, religious scholar Rahimullah Haqqani had two assassination attacks in Pakistan.
