Mumbai hosted a special screening for the courtroom drama “Haq” today. Lead actors Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam were prominently in attendance.
The event also drew director Aditya Dhar and producer Ekta Kapoor. A host of other celebrities joined them for the film premiere.
“Haq” takes its inspiration from a pivotal 1985 Supreme Court judgment. This is the landmark Mohammad Ahmed Khan v. Shah Bano Begum case.
The film sees Hashmi and Gautam portraying the main characters. Many celebrities were seen arriving at the screening.
